It began with the Narrator who tells the story about earth, as it was one of the most ecosystems of the universe. As the Globe is diverse, theres the tropical rainforests, the deserts, the oceans and the tundras. While the ecosystems are united by a common struggle to survive, connect and interact with potential mates. While nature finds everything strange which not every wildlife protection as it was structured for the dead end of the detour which is the Metro of Big City which this episode title of Big City Greens is called “Concrete Jungle”. From the vast, sweeping canopies to its subterranean depths. The concrete jungle is filled with the strangest assorted of life’s imaginable. While millions of people who lived and worked there to all essential needs to keep the city alive. Others who dwell to strived themselves to survive living in Big City as they faced many unexpected challenges in their daily lives as they have to face difficult challenges in the environment of living and working in the Concrete Jungle. As they peer into the individuals which is inhabitants of the strive of being in Big City. Then it shows the tiny insects as they’re about to follow a pack of humans which they’re known as The Greens. While Bill is referred as a Male, Cricket and Tilly referred as Two Cubs, Gramma referred as a Matriarch, and Gloria referred as a Bottom-dweller as she was scared of the bright light from the sun. It started off with sounds of nature’s sweet melody of Traffic and urban environments. Each morning, the Greens hatch from their warm, nocturnal cocoons, and try to find their feet. While for some of the members, it would be more difficult. In the blink of an eye, the nest is abuzz as each Green makes hurried preparations for the day. When the Greens ready to start the day, it was time for all of them to depart for their daytime activities. While the rest of the pack left the house, the Matriarch remains on foot to keep an out for intruders in the premises.
Gramma remained the Queen of the land as she use her status as the alpha that is hardly ever challenged. However, she was bothered by roadwork crew members fixing the old road in her territory as they began to encroached on her turf. When the piece of the old road landed on her porch, her face turned red when she became provoked and gives them a distinct warning by shouting “Idiots! Idiots!”Like a bird which she use her alert for no trespassing in her turf, which she must assert her dominance and would not to be trifled with. She put on a Construction Hat on and head bopped one of the workers which they all wanted to start a fight. The matriarch’s neck is powerful, reinforced by years of poor posture and calcium deposits. She has been stronger and more assertive than her challenger excepted. The Matriarch thought all of the construction workers and they all left when they had no match to fight Alice. The Matriarch went back on her turf and still regins her supreme.
Meanwhile at the grasslands Cricket goes to the park and find Remy as his playmate while two cubs shared a bond together as they played with each other. They have been diminutive when it comes to size, at the end, the both of them helped them overcome their challenges. The two cubs were having fun until their stomachs growled. While the food truck, their infantile legs limit their speed and must wait in the back of the herd of hungry predators. When they waited for the moment to get their meals, however, a herd of aggressive adolescents took their order and stole to cubs’ food while the food truck added the sign sold out. The cubs wished to eat their food so they had to become hunters in order to get their foods back. Overpowered and over numbered, they must be strategic. While one of the herd was left behind, the cubs had a greater chance of revenge. The cubs ran away from hunters to being hunted by aggressive adolescents. They went to the alley way and got cornered by them until the steam from the sewers approach as the cabs hide in the traffic cones and the adolescents never seen them again. At least the teamwork pay off the work and now they can feast the meals that were saved. They ate like animals and vicious in their true sense of nature.
On the other side of the Concrete Jungle, Gloria was working at her Cafe which the Bottom-dweller does her job cleaning up. While she was stuck working in the watering hole, she too the trash outside to the dumpster bin until she spotted something. She had a secret that making sure that the coast was clear, she wanted to find some treasure until she spotted the red ruby slippers. The Bottom-dweller was pleased to take it out of the dumpster until the garbage truck picks up the dump for the load behind the cafe. Gloria had to make a decision of either getting crushed for death or screams for the cry which would caused humiliation and caused to make a scene. When she screamed for the cry of help, the Truck Driver stopped the loading, which Gloria was caught for the act of causing a scene because of her unquestionable behavior, the watering hole has seen her actions and they’re shocked. Thankfully, her shame is dulled by her new beautiful new prize. For the first time all day, she was up her moment in the sun and happily danced on top of the truck and screech her evil laugh.
As the day moves to afternoon, it was the busiest time of day before the evening rush, Tilly was willing to cross the street but her small size had struggle to survive this environment, as the female cub was about to go to a dangerous crosswalk with passing vehicles. There is a constant movement of moving cars and had to figure out a plan to cross the street without going to the expense of vast. The cub used her signal to cross but her small size makes it harder to get the attention. Most people were able use their signal to stop vehicles by using size, presence and colorful markings so they don’t get crushed by the stampede. Tilly would have to find a plan and cleverness strategy to outsmart her way to in order to cross the road safely. She saw a wavable inflatable in the street so she decided to try out essentially survive to concrete jungle by doing, mimicry. One of commuter was driving somewhere, until he stoped the car and was at shocked to see a brand new brightly colored creature appeared while crossing the street. She was able to perform a dance to make it stunningly good, it brings the herd to a complete stop. Since she managed to cross the street safely, the cub is halfway through the crossing. However, she would have to cross the other side of the street from the busy roadway. Now she has to cross the other to leave the Concrete Jungle, which theres plenty of bad drivers that are reckless, angrier and more distracted. To survive the Concrete Jungle, she had to be more eye catching as she spotted some traffic cones and other equipments. She decided to mimic the same idea but more eye catching as she had equipments to make her taller so she stop the traffic commuters to let her safely cross the street, while she brought the attention to become a beast to stop the drivers from not letting her cross the street safely. She has inspired the creatures to do their prayers, as Tilly completed her survival skills of the Concrete Jungle. She stepped down and shocked the witnesses that a cub to find cleverness of success to survive this environment as she took herself a bow and happily walked away.
As the sun lowers before the evening settles, Bill was at the farmers market to buy some shiny heirloom eggs and a rare to find. The adult male was delighted as he was excited to bring them home so he can use it for dinner for the family. As soon as he went to his kludge, he put on his seatbelt and the pack of eggs too, which the engine wouldn’t start while he tried to operate his pickup. Bill was worried that his kludge wouldn’t start the engine as it was going to be more difficult than expected. Luckily, there was another to get home as he has to take the subway home as he has to go one below the ground. When he arrived to the Subway Station, he was unfamiliar with the environment as he was used to walking on the sidewalk. He was able to get on the subway train in time as he finds himself in a position of exposed and vulnerable as the train moved while he was feeling anxious about moving as he was standing without holding something. He got slipped by an empty soda can which he almost lost grip of the eggs but he was relieved that it wasn’t cracked. As he was happy to look at his eggs while holding the rail, some stranger got angry because he drank his energy drink and become the beast to attack the male holding the eggs. The predator was hungry to find some protein as Bill was scared that he was going to eat his eggs. Bill was worried that he male predator was going to eat his eggs, as he wanted to protect his eggs, which he didn’t have a choice but to leave the danger by using his rounded body to use offensive shield to avoid getting attacked. While the predator chase Bill to eat his eggs as Bill used his rounded body to protect his eggs by rolling around the train until it was stopped at the next station. So he decided to leave the station as so as the train stopped at the next station. The male was able to escape the underground danger as the predator was stuck at the train banged the door as it rolled away. Bill was happy that he escaped the danger but double checked his eggs which it was not in vain.
As the sunsets, Bill walked home and found Tilly the small cub as she was heading home at the same time. Whenever if it was protecting or mimicking, Gloria was able to leave the her job and saw Cricket the small Cub as he was about to head home at the same time as Gloria finished her shift as the two came back from hunting and foraging, the Concrete Jungle is the most demanding environment. Gramma waved at the 4 of them, as Bill stopped to watch the 3 of them get into the house and decided to go inside the house with Gramma. Later that evening when night time falls, Gramma cooked quiche for the whole family and replied “Alright, calm down you animals, Quiche is ready”. When everyone was ready to eat up, they each talked about their crazy moment of the highlight as everyone was excited to talk about their moment. When Alice talked to Gloria about the red shoes, as Gloria was able to shine the red ruby slippers as she almost got killed by a garbage truck. While everyone had their precious moment, they shared a laugh and a moment which tomorrow when the sun comes up, they will face another day at the Concrete Jungle.
