Embracing Change: The Art of Shifting

Change is not merely about moving forward; it’s about understanding when and how to shift. Life often requires us to pivot when new challenges arise, and my journey is a testament to the shifts that have shaped my growth. From childhood, I’ve been passionate about storytelling and collaboration. A pivotal shift occurred in high school when my math teacher introduced me to programming with QBasic on a Windows 95 computer. Despite the dated technology, this experience ignited my interest in a technical career path.

As I advanced, managing teams on film sets and studying at NYU’s Polytechnic Institute, those foundational skills evolved. Earning my Master’s in Integrated Digital Media at NYU was a significant shift, transforming a long-held dream into reality. This period allowed me to merge creativity with technology and deepen my business and legal understanding of media production. Observing the tech industry’s rapid evolution over the last decade—driven by startups and industry redefinitions—motivated me to continue advancing.

Currently, as I pursue certifications in Digital Marketing from Meta and AI and Python from Vanderbilt, I embrace the ongoing technological shifts in our lives. These experiences reinforce my belief that adaptability and creativity are essential alongside business strategy. My goal is to pursue an MBA at Stern, aligning with my personal mantra, “Change: Shift it.” This will equip me with strategic, analytical, and leadership skills to guide future technological shifts and foster innovations that enhance connectivity and improve everyday life.
