A cozy, autumn-themed illustration of a quaint house surrounded by large pumpkins and vibrant fall leaves.

Illustrated by Angelica Tao

Venomous spiders in my hair.

They are all shocked, but I don’t care.

To me their hairy legs and biting- Seem rather trifling.

In fact, I am rather smug.

That I am being spun by bugs.

Webs are woven around me.

And somehow make me feel free.

Venomous spiders could be seen as frightening.

But they are not worth fighting.

As they weave in and out of my ears.

It is everyone else who is in tears!

While it is not yet Halloween…

I am woven into a tree.

High up and far away.

Maybe I can keep the world at bay.
