Hi everyone, I apologize for the long wait. I’ve not been on it but I’m getting better and back now

First off, what is neuroscience?

According to the studies, it means any or all of the sciences, such as neurochemistry and experimental psychology, which deal with the structure or function of the nervous system and brain. It also says that it is a scientific field that studies the structure, function, development, and disorders of the nervous system. including the brain. It encompasses various subfields such as

  • Cognitive neuroscience
  • Behavior neuroscience
  • Molecular neuroscience
  • Developmental neuroscience
  • Neurobiology
  • Neuroropsychology

Neuroscience aims to understand how the brain works, how it controls our bodies and minds, and how it is affected by diseases and injuries. It utilizes a wide range of research methods, including experimental psychology, neuroimaging, molecular, and computational modeling.

Now that we know what neuroscience is, I can also say how important art therapy is and I also thought I would post this watercolor painting I made months ago

A cartoon illustration of a brown animal holding a blue object, wrapped in pink lines, with the text 'Just A Bad Day' in bold black letters on a yellow background.

Hi, my name is Cara, I'm from long island, NY, and I'm the art director, therapist, and advocate for people of all abilities at Autisticana.org. I make art for others, events, and myself of course, and post it here to showcase it. I also have an Etsy shop so you can check that out if you want to. I'm also on the autism spectrum aka neurodivergent like everyone else here on the blog.
