When I usually check dj events on socials, I most of the time checked the songs that interests me. Sometimes it’s like a never ending moment with the most cherished songs that a lot of people would never get tired of when the melody has a good rhythm to the beats. When I hear most of my favourite EDM or Drum n Bass Artists, I would get pumped to see which concert, nightclub or music festival depending on popularity size of where and when they perform the shows. Generally I get excited because it’s the same type of music pitch the raise like I used to hear it on the radio which most Dance Artists in general wanna raise the pitch to make the song sound more appealing to the fans of the audience.
It could be music videos from the special type of video that wasn’t the main official video, or it could be your workout show or it could be your drive to playlist or it could be just for your favourite tunes. Maybe it could your favourite artist that you want to see but you don’t feel comfortable going to large crowds where it’s too cramped or if it’s too late to step up for a late night party that starts by midnight or maybe you don’t wanna to travel too far and fear of going to the city at night.
Most people seemed comfortable going to warehouses at nightclubs but for myself I don’t feel comfortable going to warehouses at night or don’t want to see an artist that late at night because sometimes I wish I want to see them badly which makes me feel sad. I would love to see a EDM or Drum n Bass concert some point in life which hopefully I can see them for a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them for real life.
Sub Focus & Wilkinson – Ready to Fly (The song was at the warehouse which I can they raise the pitch in the Official Video which its rare in Official Music Videos
Kanine with all of the songs high pitch like if some if it would be on the radio
One Hour Live Show with Tsuki at DnB All Stars 360 can be great to workout if you to dance to the fire beats
When Avicii and Nicky Romero had their successful song of 2013 I Could Be the One at some Music Festival

After all these years, I enjoy listening to EDM Songs but when I felt like researching the artists from autobiography, about most of them from UK which the Netherlands were my runners up of DJ’s outside of the US. During the time of a Global Pandemic, I decided to focus on young talents of British Dance DJ’s who started as local DJ’s in their hometown area. I watched them play club music on social media. I never focus on going to Nightclubs in general which I wish I would like to go. I really love to hear nightclubs on social media and videos so I can enjoy the experience and tryout different musics for each club. I became interested of these small artists because of a specific channel of music on Spotify and search, Drum and Bass, UK Garage, and other categories of EDM Songs for current generation.
If I would here any of my music or my favorite songs from the artists if they decide to play it in high pitch at clubs, I would rewatch it over and over and over until I get tired of it. Not just nightlife in the UK, it could happen to nightclubs and concerts in Australia, the Netherlands, USA, Germany and Ireland, Tomorrowland in Belgium and other countries around the Globe. The DJs that I’ve listened to is Tsuki, Aleya Mae, Koven, Aktive, BLVCK CROWZ, Subtronics, Blanke, Excision, Freaks & Geeks, Biscits, Maduk, Modestep, JEANIE, Lee Mvtthews, K Motionz, Wilkinson, Ekko & Sidetrack, Friction and Protostar
On the 29th of April, 2022, The Mets played against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citi Field. It was a bit of windy breeze in Queens with 32,416 Fans who attended at Citi Field on a Friday Night. The Mets were looking forward for another no hitter for the 1st time since June 1, 2012 during Santana’s Moment and it was the 1st no-hitter in Mets History. While the New York Mets are celebrating 60 Years of this Team making history, more unforgettable memories are making more stories for the fans and teammates to talk about. The Mets are looking forward to create another memory for a timeline that they’ll never forget.
During the First Pitch Tylor Megill was the starting pitch and only lasted for 5 innings which only had 88 pitches with 3BB and 5 Strikeouts. The Pitcher had some great moments but gotten shaken at times. As soon as it was getting too much to lose the batters for walks, At the end of the 5th Inning, Coach Buck Showalter removed him so he can get some breathing moments. While the coach stayed calm, the Mets got 4 more pitchers from the bullpen to helped out work as a team to saved the no-hitter. The whole pitching crew worked together and team up to keep it quiet by staying focused. Afterwards, Drew Smith had 36 pitches, Joely Rodriguez had 17 pitches with 2 BB, Seth Lugo only had 5 pitches and Edwin Díaz had 13 pitches with 3 perfect strikeouts to make history by making the Mets get their 2nd No-Hitter in Franchise History. Another interesting fact about this Unforgettable no-hitter game, the whole team got 159 pitches with 5 players who all pitched at Citi Field. The Mets broke the most pitches in a no hitter game which broke the record since Houston Astros had 151 pitches with 6 players against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium in 2003. All of the Pitch Relievers were very pleased about the Performance and their dedicated work. After when the game ended the sign on the Board said BLACK OUT which was really cool to see for the fans to witness.
On the Players side of the story the funniest moment was during the 1st Inning when Francisco Lindor had the helmet with no Mets Logo. When he got to 1st Base, Rhys Hoskins from the Phillies notice that his helmet has no logo but laughed along when he found that the logo on his helmet was missing. For some reason, A New York Mets Legend who walked down to surprised the longtime fans and it was Strawberry which the Mets Commentators thought that legends usually don’t wear their jerseys at the fans stand and usually sit at the Luxury Seating Area. During the 3rd Inning, Megill pitched the ball and swing up to the center which Brandon Nimmo made a great dive for the catch to keep the Mets alive. During the Bottom of 5th Inning and it was still scoreless but the Mets had other ways to get 2 runs. Eduardo Escobar got a single and then Mark Canha hit a Double which was a greater of winning the ballgame. Mark Canha got his first Double as a Mets Player. When Jeff McNeil got his moment, he swing the bat and helped Escobar and Canha ran to home base to score 2 runs while McNeil singles on the line drive to Center Field. On the other side in the Dugout where the players watch their teammates played in action, everyone cheered for the players to run home to take the lead especially Lindor waved at Jeff McNeil which give him the biggest smile of the highlight in 1st Base.
By the time when the Mets reached to the Bottom of 6 Inning, Nola the pitcher from the Phillies pitched to Pete Alonso, it was a swing high ball deep to the left back in front of the wall which it was out of here. Pete Alonso got himself a Solo Home run to helped give the Mets a 3-0 lead. The Fans were wild full of excitement and saw a beautiful sense of joy for an beautiful moment. During the 7th Inning, Rodriguez swing the ball and Lindor was able give McNeil and Alonso to helped the Mets to give the Phillies a Double play to end the Top of the 7th Inning. When Seth Lugo pitched for a short 8th Inning, Pete Alonso was able to catch the ball at his own space to close the inning with only 5 pitches.
When Edwin Díaz the Closer came in to pitch for the closing moments, Mr. Mets and Mrs. Mets played the Trumpets and encouraged the fans to clapped and cheered for him while playing a very interesting EDM Song Narco by Dutch DJ Blasterjaxx & Australian DJ Timmy Trumpet. When it was his moment to shine, he struck out Bryce Harper, which hyped up the crowd. He also struck out Nick Castellanos which was down to his final out int the Top of the 9th Inning. Fans whistle to bring attention and waited for the moment to be a reality. When T.J Realmuto was up, he had a foul ball a strike and Edwin Díaz give him the final strikeout and that gives the New York Mets a tremendous victory. The New York Mets has successfully got themselves a no-hitter for the 2nd time in Franchise History. Everyone cheered for the Mets, the played jumped up and down while going for joy to celebrate each other for the outstanding Performance to make history. Edwin Díaz has 3 perfect Strikeouts in the Top of the 9th Inning while stayed calm and focused on concluding the game to show that everyone thinks that he could be a hero which it became a reality. 5 Pitchers combined for the 2nd no-hitter in New York Mets History. The whole team who put the effort of the teams effort is now the no-no! The whole team give out high fives into the dugout and then more crazy and the wackiest moments like giving the superstar players poured with Gatorade all over them by jumping in the cold for a energetic moment. While the players had interviews from the news and the media, it was a night that will be remembered as Generations will go on for Mets Fans and future fans.
The New York Mets has made History with every interview with all of the pitchers included James McCann who had his 2nd No-Hitter Game since he used to played for the Chicago White Sox. The rest of the pitchers had their first no hitter experience and it was a great feeling to bring all of that happiness and passion to really enjoy baseball. Every moment of the Mets have some wonders of writing down more history by making new memories and talking about how to work as a team to get better. Everyone had their own interviews after the pitchers had their moments like Jeff McNeil and Pete Alonso which it was amazing to see the whole Team grow and working together as a team which shows great achievements and appreciation.
During one weekend when I was at Hunter Mountain for an overnight respite with Camp Loyaltown, I happened to check my phone and saw that Avicii passed away in Muscat, Oman. It took me like 10 to 15 minutes to make me realize that the story was real and when I did, it broke my heart. I got really upset and started crying because Avicii was my idol. He was the one that got me into electronic dance music (EDM) in the last 5 years.
On Saturday, we went to Woodstock, NY and spent the afternoon around Hunter Mountain. During karaoke night later that evening, I sang “Wake Me Up” by Avicii in rememberance. On Sunday, my twin brother Brett and my friend Rachel found a dead bird and decided to paint a rock orange in its honor. They named the dead bird Avicii. I was grateful to my friends for this because it made me feel better. I truly love EDM music.
During my sophomore year of high school, I used to listen to the radio every morning to help me wake up. Around this time, I grew more interested into EDM music. I started adding in EDM music into my top 40 stations, which also included alternative rock, country, and hip hop music.
The weekend Avicii passed away, I listened to every song of his, even the ones I never heard before. His music has power to make electronic music interesting because it gives me the energy I need to sustain daily energy.
Avicii was born in Stockholm, Sweden on the 8th of September, 1989. As a DJ, he used to tour around overseas hosting concerts for his fans. His first official release was “Fade in Darkness.” But, I didn’t first hear Avicii’s music until “Levels” back in 2011. It was a major success and that’s when Avicii decided to make more successful songs. With his success, he won awards and was nominated for best DJ in the world.

In 2012, he was interviewed with Radio Host Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 which was the world popular pop music station in the United Kingdom. In 2015, Avicii was interview with my favorite radio host Astra on 92.3 AMP Radio on Valentines Day. Avicii’s album True was his most successful studio album, and in my opinion, the greatest album he did. Avicii spent many nights touring around the globe to express his fans what he loved the most. Unfortunately, he had to retire from touring because he was having health concerns and mental health issues because of the lack of rest. And in 2017, Avicii released last unforgettable pop/dance success song “Lonely Together” (featuring Rita Ora). I loved this song because it works perfectly in both formats.

As soon I realize that Avicii was gone, I decided to go through all of his songs even the ones I don’t play, on Spotify. Listening to his music, Avicii has a range of different songs for every moment and all types of dance songs. From less bass to heavy bass, every song has a different storyline. This makes every song good. He always was able to use the right beat to fit the song and the type of music, and they match perfectly.
When “SOS” (featuring Aloe Blacc) came in 2019, the song was dedicated to Avicii for his greatest songs across that decade. That same year, Chris Martin from Coldplay cowrote the song “Heaven”, which was Avicii’s last song. This song was created before his death and was finished by Nicky Romeo, who was able to find the new music on Avicii’s computer.

Avicii’s music continues to live on for generations of EDM fans.

I have always loved change of pitch in music. Change in pitch is the same voice from a song but with an altered pitch. This can be in different songs on the radio, in movies, and from overseas.
I first noticed that I liked change in pitch in either 4th or 5th grade. When I was in Chorus, I liked to sing in a higher pitch because I felt it energized me. In the 8th grade, the chorus teacher put me into the boys choir, which made me kind of unhappy. This meant that all the boys had to be in the same group, the baritones. I didn’t have the chance to sing in high pitch much anymore.
I went home and checked the internet to understand what the difference was between boys and girls in choir. There were two categories for boy singers. Tenor is for higher pitch males, and bass was for lower pitch males. This was frustrating to me because our voices were rapidly changing due to pubescence, and my desire was to stay in the higher pitch group. I was still able to sing in the high pitch, but it wasn’t like the 7th grade or elementary school, where it was just the altos and the sopranos.
When I would listen to music, I used to listen to my favorite songs on the radio or TV shows on YouTube. This was in the late 2000s. Back then, they used to allow location designations on your account that showed what country someone was from. I could tell the pitch of different sounds from the clips of different movies.
In 7th grade, I would notice that some songs were in super high pitch or deep pitch. I used to download MP3 files from YouTube to iTunes. From 2011 to early 2014, I used to search for songs that came in high pitch, like I heard on the radio. This was a challenge as I sitll didn;t know how to change the pitch of different songs. And between 2012 and early 2013, I used to record sonds from radio stations that had high pitch.

A few days after my 16th birthday, my half older brother Stephen taught me how to use Gargage Band on my mac computer and search AU Pitch to raise the pitch of a song. I was grateful to him for the life lesson on music. I was then able to raise the pitch of different songs and download that to iTunes.

On that same day, I learned about Spotify, another music platform. Spotify is a digital music platform, where I was able to listen to songs in their regular pitch. It was so cool being able to use two music platforms. I was able to use iTunes for high pitch songs and Spotify for regular pitch songs, so I was able to understand the difference between the two. In 2018, I found the website TimeStretch Player that can adjust the pitch of different tracks for you. This was perfect for determining the right high pitch I liked to listen to.

When I go to special events or weddings, if I heard a song that was high pitched like I would hear on the radio, I automatically start dancing and get amplified. I live for today’s generation of music (from the 2000s to the present). The party is always more exciting when someone plays something I love in high pitch the way I like it. It makes the party more lit up, more purmped up, and I can dance on the dance floor until I get tired.
During the pandemic, I decided to spend my nights downloading songs from every genre of 2020 from alternative rock, country, electronic & dance, pop, and hip hop/rap. I want to become a DJ, so I can mix songs and play them at local bars or night clubs. Maybe I would combine this with blogging to help keep my success going. I still currently download songs on YouTube and convert them to mp3s. After the songs are downloaded to iTunes, I go to TimeStrech Player to change the speed a little bit and raise the pitch a little higher than usual. I have recently found more modern websites that can alter the pitch, tempo, and more of music.
As the years go by, I’m definitely going to continue to listen to modern music and watch its evolution to see if its good or not depending on the genres of music.
Recently, I found that all of the music I had from 2011 to 2017 has become distorted, which means the audio is getting outdated, so I am going to have to remaster them. I now know how to change the tempo speed, so I am also going to do that now because many of the songs now sound slower than they should be.
One day, I hope to travel overseas, I would love to explore the music of different countries. I currently use the Shazam app if I am in the club so I can save songs and look it up when I get home, I go to the music stores, or in case I hear it on the radio.

I also have found out that DJs in clubs can remix songs based on pitch, if it’s low or high. If I hear a song of a remix that is high pitched, I get amped up on the dance floor and party like I don’t care. No matter what type of music you listen to, it’s the format of the song that fits in your soul. If the song doesn’t sound right, you can change the pitch or tempo to make that song more entertaining to you!
Here is a list of websites I found for tempo and pitch changes to audio:
