The story all took place 30 years ago when Bill was a kid and excitedly helped out with mom doing Farm chores. Bill was the most excited kid while running the farm. While Alice drove the Tractor and hoped off, she couldn’t help but couldn’t be more pleased about his cute face working on the farm. She asked Bill to set up dinner while she finished running chores around the farm. Life was perfect running the farm When young Bill took run the farm with his farm until later that day, some guy named Quisling came by to tell Alice that he wanted to offer by selling the farm, for money. Bill was horrified of the idea because he wanted to run the farm when he grows up and help out with mom run the farm and live the life running through the fields. She had to claimed Bill that she hasn’t making enough money since his dad Ernest passed away which means that Bill would have to do the adult chores around the farm. Bill was so excited that he wanted to do more chores around the farm. The next morning, Bill was still happy to run the farm and gets to assigned to hay baler duty. He was so eager to drive the tractor and put the accelerator on fast but then hit one of the rocks and jammed the haybaler. Bill was going to see if he grab one of the rocks that was jammed into the machine until it started working again and Alice pulled Bill about the haybaler. She told him that he could’ve lost his fingers and could’ve been badly hurt like that the time she lost her leg. She firmly told Bill that he is banned working on the farm and no more chores in the farm. Bill walked sadly back to the house and ate a loaf of bread. He wished that his dad was still alive to help out the farm without dealing with the past due bills on the fridge. He came up with a great idea that he find himself a job to see if the community needs help.
When Bill ride his bike to every house in the neighborhood, most of the residents asked him to scram and leave themselves alone except one guy would offered him a job but Bill left because he was creeped out by the redness on his face which he thought it was blood, as soon as he left, the guy was actually cutting tomatoes. When Bill arrived to Sunny Days Estates, he knocked the door and saw a guy with a business venture for counterfeit arcade tokens. Bill will have assistance from a girl named Nancy in managing the token business. Nick shouted, “Hey kid, get out here! Nancy!” She was about to ask her dad a question when she came out. When Nick first approached her, he said, “Whatshisface will help her tonight.” When Bill first encountered Nancy, he was shy. However, after shaking hands with her, he warmed up to her, and that’s when he established feelings for her. When Nick instructed them to go out and earn money, the two kids talked about their bikes and decorations, while Nancy made her bicycle sound like a motorcycle. While riding their bikes to Big City, the two laughed off each other.
By the time when they got to Joe’s Arcade, Nancy raced Bill to the building downstairs and Bill thought he crashed her but Nancy laughed out loud of the moment he crushed her. When Nancy told Bill Green that he is something, Even with a smile on his cheek, Bill felt embarrassed to admit it. When they planned on doing the scheme, Nancy showed Bill how to get tokens to the kids and doubled up the price of the tokens for a dollar. The both of them admit that each of their parents had to pay bills which they each don’t have enough bills to pay. Bill’s mother sounds quite strong, even managing the farm day and night, Nancy said to him. The both of them agreed that it would be time to make some money. The both of them asked each kid to get some cheap tokens to play extra time playing arcade games. The two had a blast making a lot of money until Bill was caught in the act next to the German Kid carrying a pocket full of tokens and money while the manager Joe of Joe’s Arcade called the police. Nancy asked Bill to leave the scene, Bill was too scared when the manager asked to stopped moving which he was confused to decide. While the both of them ran freely, but a young Russell Remington elbowed them to the ground. The Manager was pleased with the help and tells him that he would be a great police officer someday until a young Keys says that he’ll make a great police officer.
When the two went to Big City Jail, Bill covered his eyes for the life of shame while Nancy played the harmonica. Bill was terrified when Alice was able to free him from the City Jail, but Nancy reassured him that everything would be Alright. Bill felt guilty about what had happened by the time he got into the car, but Alice was most definitely in no mood to discuss it, so he remained mute the entire way back to the country side. She stopped her car halfway home and let out a scream, just in case she had to curse in addition to scream in rage as she hit the pile of hay bale. When she finally calmed herself enough to return to the car, she was so furious that Bill opted to work for a life of crime while being a bad mother for failing to keep Bill from getting into danger. The both of them lay down on the car seat. Bill was upset because he wanted to help out while Alice was furious that she is disappointed at her own son for not using any discipline. She was more concerned about the city developments would take over the land of the countryside. Bill tell his mother that he would be okay to sell the farm; thinking that it wouldn’t be given to those land developers and realise that he cares about his own mother instead what could happen next. The both of them hugged each other and raise the seat back up and hoping that there lives would be change for the better. Bill promise to be more responsible to help around with his mother and not to do anymore shady business, while Alice told him to stay away from Nancy because she’s a bad influence on him, especially her father Nick known as a convicted felon. They hoped the land would downsize the farm and not develop into another region of Big City.
Back at home in present which is 30 years later, Gramma told Cricket and Tilly the story about how they got into this mess in the first place even with downsized the farm. Cricket and Tilly questioned Gramma that she didn’t do a good job with the city developments and Nancy told Alice that they never get to split apart since then. Gramma regrets her decision that the land developers taking over the property was the biggest mistake of her life. Bill felt bad about the whole situation but Gramma Alice said it was worth it and brought in the whole family for a hug until the very end of the episode when she was done with the hugs around her.
