Women’s 200 Breaststroke Race: Kate Douglass Takes Gold in the Olympics

During the Women’s 200 Breast strokes, Kate Douglass of Team USA has been the favored which she has got the sliver list of the World Games of 2023 and 2024. In the race we got Teterevkova of Lithuania, Ye of China, Schouten of the Netherlands, Douglass of USA, Smith and Corbett from South Africa, King from USA and Suzuki of Japan. The race began with Smith of South Africa taking the lead follow by Douglass of Team USA and Schouten of the Netherlands. After the 50 meter line, Douglass swam faster as Smith was better at turning back to the other side of the pool.

Douglass has resumed the lead and took the lead back by the 100 meter line to begin the 3rd lap. Schouten of the Netherlands and Smith of South Africa continued to get back to the Gold position as Douglass and Smith both made the final turn at the 150 meter line. The fans began their excitements and it was a very close battle which Kate Douglass of Team USA took Gold and Tatjana Smith of South Africa took Silver which it was very tight to conclude the race and Tes Schouten of The Netherlands took Bronze. Tatjana Smith and Lilly King both chatted with Kate Douglass and congratulated her.
