For Scott Weisbrot, CEO of Autisticana, the opportunity to play for Team USA at the 2026 FIH Para Field Hockey World Cup would be much more than a sporting achievement. It would represent the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, a chance to travel internationally, and an opportunity to inspire others through dedication, perseverance, and teamwork.
One of my biggest dreams has always been to visit Europe. Having the possibility of traveling to Belgium and the Netherlands for the 2026 FIH Para Field Hockey World Cup would be a dream come true and a major milestone on his personal bucket list. Beyond the competition itself, the experience of representing my country on an international stage would be something I would cherish forever.
Being part of Team USA is a privilege that it does not take lightly. I recognize the commitment and hard work required to earn a place on a traveling team and is proud of the dedication it takes to train, improve, and compete alongside talented athletes. The opportunity to play with fellow teammates, learn from coaches, and contribute to the team’s success would be an incredible honor.
Another aspect of the World Cup that excites me to have the chance to meet athletes from around the world. International competition brings together players from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, creating friendships and connections that extend far beyond the field. I am looking forward to learning from others and experiencing the global field hockey community firsthand.
I do believe that every practice, workout, and training session is a step toward becoming a better player. My philosophy is simple: work hard every day, continue learning, and strive to improve with each opportunity. Through dedication and persistence, I hope I can learn and grow both as an athlete and as a person. I also followed up USA Field Hockey since the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. I wanted to have as much time watching Field Hockey as the years go by aside from Mainstream Media Sports of the country.
As a passionate supporter of Team USA, I am also the Captain for Team USA and hopes the team can perform well at the 2026 Para Field Hockey World Cup. More importantly, I want to enjoy every moment of the experience, embrace the challenges of competition, and appreciate the opportunity to represent his country. I will be playing teams like Belgium on Home Soil, France, Italy, Ireland, Paraguay and so much more.
For Scott, the experience is about more than athletics. It is also about connecting with people and growing outside of my comfort zone. Meeting new fans, interacting with supporters, and building new relationships would help me develop confidence and strengthen my leadership skills.
Field hockey provides me with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and overcome challenges. Whether facing obstacles or celebrating successes, he views every experience as a chance to improve. The sport teaches resilience, teamwork, and determination, qualities that have helped shape both his personal and professional life.
Ultimately, I see the opportunity to play for Team USA as one of the best things that could happen to me. It combines my love of sports, and my passion for personal growth, and my desire to represent something larger than myself. If given the opportunity to compete in the 2026 FIH Para Field Hockey World Cup, I hope to make the most of every moment and proudly represent Team USA on the world stage.
