
During the Men’s Kite Surfing Match, it was up to 4 players to get Gold in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The race began with the 4 players of Valentin Bonus of Austria, Ricardo Pianosi of Italy, Max Maeder of Singapore and Toni Vodisek of Slovenia. The competition was located in the coast of the Marseille, France. The race began with all 4 of them going on the similar speed from the wind until the yard zone before the first mark. At the 1st Mark, Valentin Bonus of Austria made the first turn and made a powerful speed from the other 3 players while fighting for 2nd place. While Valentin of Austria made a comfortable lead from the 2nd mark and the 3rd mark, everyone is close at the turn until Ricardo Pianos of Italy lost his board and his foot strap was in the water as he will finish in 4th. After that, Valentine Bontus of Austria takes Gold at the finish line and Toni Vodisek of Slovenia took the Silver and Max Maeder of Singapore took Bronze.

The next race began with Austria taking the lead close to Italy and Singapore as Slovenia was a little behind after the start of the race. At the 1st Mark, Ricardo Pianos of Italy has taken the lead in front of Valentin Bonus and Max Maeder. At the 2nd Mark, Valentin Bonus of Austria has taken back the lead from Ricardo Pianosi. After that, Valentine has still regained the lead into the last Mark as Ricardo’s board began to slow down from the wind pressure and the waves has gotten choppy. At the finish line, Valentin Bonus of Austria took Gold at the Finish line as he wins the Men’s Kite Sailing Match.
