The episode Green Trail is the story about if Cricket at the cake or not which Tilly was the judge to be suspects if Cricket was lying or not about eating the cake the before the family arrived from farming. The story seems relatable to the Bluey episode Family Meeting which Chilli was the judge to see if Bandit was responsible for making a fluffy on the morning of the morning. Green Trail did had some interesting highlights like on the morning before the Greens came back to the house and some crazy plot twists at the very end.

It began with the 4 of them heading back home from doing chores at the farm. Tilly was worried that Cricket couldn’t finished chores after Melissa the Goat broke his arm. When Nancy put the basket of eggs on top of the dryer machine, Bill was hoping to have Nancy’s delicious strawberry cake as the rest of the family were eager to have some. Nancy then told the family a story that she used to love making cake while she was kid with her dad (Grandpa Nick) as they had a rocky relationship, the both of them love making cake together. When the Green’s were about to have Nancy’s best strawberry cake, they came to the house and saw the huge mess in the house and the cake was gone. They noticed that the cake was gone and Tilly thought they did their chorces as Nancy thought that not all of us did their choreces so Bill and Nancy both yelled “CRICKET” as he was getting ready to come down to the kitchen. While Nancy blamed Cricket for eating the cake, Cricket thought they ate the cake without him. Bill replied “Cricket, your mom worked real hard on that cake. And some of us thought we deserved a little treat”. Nancy stated that Cricket was the only one in the house as Cricket explained to her that he didn’t do it while he was in his room stuck with his broken arm. Nancy forced Cricket to go to his room while Bill dragged Cricket upstairs as he asked Tilly to tell him that he’s innocent which Tilly began to worry and explain to him that he was the only one in the house and loves cake. Cricket didn’t want to do it replied “I invoke Sibling Code”! Tilly was surprised which it didn’t with the adults in the house and that’s the Family Meeting began in Green Trail.

Tilly explained to what Sibling Code which is a sacred oath of loyalty. Only to be invoked in the most extreme situations. She also stated that he was lying, she wouldn’t be able trust him again. Cricket swore that he would be on the board for sibling code. Tilly announced that she wants to go on a trial as it was reversed that Cricket was surprised and the adults still don’t seemed shocked. Gramma did also decide to get into this Green Trial. Nancy growns and decide to start the trial while she thought it’s incriminated. Tilly made a good explanation for protecting his baby brother as she will protect him and defend him for life and death. While Nancy wanted to make a new cake, the Court Session began as Tilly became the judge on the Family Meeting and introduced the audience in the room especially Mama who is the prosecutor in Court. Tilly made an investigation of crime about a cake by the window, she included the ingredients of the cake like sugar and flour which she also stated that the secret recipe that was not in Nancy’s Cake, is injustice. One the morning of this morning, Nancy finished making cake after breakfast. The 4 of them left to do chores around 9:00AM even the time when Cricket got his arm bitten by Melissa the Goat, and somewhere around 11:20AM, the cake was gone. Then Nancy thought she checked the view around 11 which Cricket thought he was innocent but Tilly suggested that someone might’ve touch the cake between the 11:00 to 11:20. Nancy thought Cricket was who made the mess and took the cake which he would be good a sneaking the cake and goes crazy after the sugar rush. Bill and Gramma thought he would be the attacker as Nancy was going to close the case, which Tilly hold the idea as it could also be possible which sabotage her which it could also be possible that the cake was inside the house.

Tilly pointed out that Gramma could be the suspect of the crime. It could be possible that Gramma does often carries her sword incase of a trespasser. When Alice replied “Objections”, she scared everyone and broke the lamp. Then she admit that she could be responsible, as Bill thought he could be wrong about Cricket eating the cake. Nancy stated that the mystery hasn’t end just yet which their could another spot of the crime. She pointed that there was sweat marks on the chair which it could possibly find someone out of the five who sat on the chair and called it cake sweats. Gramma replied Gross in a sarcastic way. Tilly suggests the Papa could be the one he sat on the chair and not profusely perspire. Bill said “No! I only sweat after farming. And cleanin’ the house and when I’m being accused of sweatin’ a lot.” He was found responsible for sweating a lot on the floor which solved Tilly’s case. Nancy gruntingly think that Cricket didn’t ate the cake as Cricket was about to get his hopes up for being innocent. When he was about to high five Tilly, his cast came off and it turned out that Cricket faked his injury to make an excuse to not work on the farm. Everyone was shocked which give Nancy her moment to bring in sass in the Green Trial and tells him “Isn’t that your arm that kept you from doing chores today”? Cricket decides to fake his own death with the broken arm as he disappointed the rest of his family. He then finally admitted that his arm wasn’t broken, but still wanted to prove that he didn’t ate the cake. Nancy has refused to give up the evidence that he was lying the whole time. Cricket asked Tilly for help to keep sibling code in trust as he had one more faith for telling the truth.

Tilly resumed the jury that Cricket was able to lie about his broken arm to get away from doing chores, as there was no physical evidence that he could be the culprit. She suggests that it wouldn’t be some trace of the person who ate the cake as she asked Cricket to twirl since he is a messy eat and it was proof that his arm had cake frosting which he was caught red handed. Nancy found proof that their was strawberry icing and asked Tilly to take a taste of the frosting which it was strawberry frosting. Nancy was about the close the case of the crime as she got stressed out and calls it a recess break. Tilly dragged Cricket to his room and was furious that he abused sibling code. Cricket didn’t realized that the icing got into his arm and tried everything to admit the truth from before and now. Tilly felt insulted that he lied to her and has broken Sibling Code forever. Cricket was about to get upset as it was the worst day of his life, he was about to lose Tilly’s trust for good and missed a phone call with his girlfriend Gabriella. Tilly was about to open the door knob and suddenly stopped that she explained to him that he was about to make a video call with Gabriella. Tilly thought that he could’ve said it sooner which it he was at panic mode at the time of the incident of the cake. When Tilly checked the Ipad to see if their was proof and finally realized to bring back sibling code with the catchphrase “Bingo, bango.” While Nancy tried to fix the lamp, Gramma suggest to fix it later as Tilly asked the family to resume the Green Trial. Tilly explained all of the shenanigans earlier in the Family Meeting which she found new evidence that Cricket is very responsible of the evidence that Nancy presented, but did had proof which he did not eat the cake.

Tilly decides to add Cricket’s drawing of Gabriella while he planned on making a video call. What really happened was the Cricket gets very nervous before he speaks to Gabriella, he then starts singing and dancing with his unbridled aggression in order to soothe himself. There was a moment when Cricket makes a mess and opened the cabitment doors with the freezer opened. He was dancing and use the sitting cushion as a towel which Gramma stated that “I hand sewed those in 1950”! Last but not least, Cricket wanted to climb up high so he can be the tallest person and feel powerful, as he slipped by accident, Cricket realized the moment when his arm got one of the frostings the whole time. Nancy thought it was all speculation and had no proof that Cricket didn’t ate the cake. Tilly replied “Au Contraire” which she was about to show exhibit C as the Ipad which showed Cricket made a 32 minute video. They laughed at Cricket at one moment when he tried to rehearse before making a video call with Gabriella. It was the proof that around 11:00 to 11:20 was the moment that Cricket was focused on his love and not the cake. Tilly brought in proof that the case has been solved. Nancy finally realized the truth as the time of Court was done, which she declared that Cricket Green is not guilty. Cricket and Tilly happily cheered for the truth, even Bill and Gramma the witness were happy that the case close. After that, Cricket thanked Tilly for helping out Sibling code and knowing the truth. The both of them hugged for love of sibling code and Nancy apologized to Cricket for almost falsely accused of eating the cake and something that he didn’t do. Bill had one more suggestion that if Cricket didn’t eat the cake, someone could possibly done it. When Nancy wanted to check the highlight of the video of the key clue, Cricket in the video was reading a speech as Nancy paused the video and found the suspect that took the cake and it was Grandpa Nick.

They heard the person who entered the house and ate the strawberry cake and it turns out it was Grandpa Nick was the prime suspect who took the whole strawberry cake. The whole family were shocked that Nick was the one who ate the cake which and claimed that he enjoyed the cake. The episode ended with To Be Continued as it referenced to Law and Order.
