The Special Charity Event was an Surfing Moment with kids on the Autism Spectrum and other neurodivergents that enjoyed Surfing which there was a special event for kids across the Sydney Metropolitan to do a Surfing Event in Bondi Beach. Ocean Heroes is an Australian initiative which focused on providing individuals with autism the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of surfing. The event is also focused on touring across Australia to the metropolitan areas for the nearest Beaches in the country to bring people together. It’s also designed to create a positive experience for participants, with the opportunity to focus on sensory support, safety and individual wellness. It also helped individuals to learn social skills with the surfers to help them surf and develop personal growth and physical activity for an outdoor environment.

Ryan Clark who is known as his nickname “Whippet” has been so committed to doing charity events like swimming through The English Channel, he has a big heart close to home base like was raising funds to Ocean Heroes for this one. He also talked about the importance of children being on the Autism Spectrum to enjoy surfing for the whole Sydney Metropolitan Area to enjoy the day with safe surfing lessons. He also explained that the kids were able to get surfing lessons for a couple of hours at the event.

The story of this scene was on a beautiful morning, Bondi Beach hosted the event for Ocean Heroes as they thought it was be a great idea to have a surfing event for Special Needs children, while they also have a surf camp at Bondi Beach for local and tourists parts of the day.

Whippet also gets to surf with Micha, as he was excited to go surfing and catch the waves. Micha wanted to go far out where the real surfers wait for the big waves. Then Whippet taught him how to paddle and stand up while on the sand. Then he was able to help him get on the surfboard while, swimming towards the ocean. Whippet was able to help catch the perfect wave, as it took many practices for Micha and the other children to get the opportunity to get the perfect wave. When the session was over, he talked to Micha about the experience surfing with him, and he had a great time. Micha also wanted to get his own surfboard and get autographs o all of his fans if he planned to become a professional surfer.

Whippet was able to raise more than $130,000 to get brand new lifejackets, wetsuits and surfboards. The special event was able to donate new surfboards, life jackets and other equipments. Whippet was emotional about when he gets to help out the Neurodiverse Community for a special event with all of the happy faces, and he explained to the audience that he has 3 beautiful children. He also stated that it was a special moment when the kids enjoyed surfing with them.
