Voter turnout exceeded 60%, fueled by strong interest in key local issues such as property taxes, public safety, and infrastructure improvements. Blakeman’s success was bolstered by endorsements from former President Donald Trump as he got off the phone to congratulating his success and prominent local GOP leaders, while Koslow graciously conceded shortly after midnight. Looking ahead, Blakeman’s inauguration is scheduled for January 1, 2026, with his agenda focusing on expanding mental health services, advancing flood mitigation projects, and fostering economic development in communities like Long Beach, North Hempstead, Oyster Bay, Hempstead and Glen Cove.

They won all towns and it was the first time in 54 years that they swept Long Beach back to Red. This would also be the perfect time that America would celebrate 250 years of this great country as Blakeman takes office again for Nassau County Executive.

During the speech, Bruce Blakeman quoted “I am very grateful to the residents of Nassau County for giving me the honor to serve them again, and I will continue to fight to keep this the safest county in America without raising taxes.” Bruce Blakeman wanted more Law Enforcement Policies to take over Nassau County to get rid of people who are Criminals and Dangerous. Nassau County becomes the safest County in New York State and America since Blakeman took over. He also wanted to thanked his family members and friends who supported him and the success in the last 4 years while America was going through hard times.

Bruce Blakeman also thanked the PBA, the SOA, DAI, the Corrections Officers, the Law Enforcement professionals to keep Nassau County Safe and was grateful for fixing the Nassau County Police Department to become the best police department in the world and thanked Police Commissioner of the Nassau County Police Department Patrick Ryder for putting everything on the line to keep the place safe. As Nassau County Executive entering his second term, Bruce Blakeman has outlined ambitious priorities emphasizing job creation through targeted economic development and substantial investments in road infrastructure to support mobility and commerce. For economic growth and jobs, Blakeman plans to expand the Nassau Hub redevelopment project in Uniondale, aiming to attract tech, biotech, and entertainment firms with incentives like streamlined permitting and up to $50 million in tax credits, projecting 5,000 new jobs by 2030 building on recent wins like the UBS Arena that already added thousands in hospitality and event roles.

On road pavement, Blakeman’s agenda includes a $200 million bond-funded “Pave Nassau Forward” program over the next four years, targeting the repaving and resurfacing of 300 miles of county roads prioritizing high-traffic corridors like the Northern State Parkway, Route 24 and Sunrise Hwy to reduce pothole complaints by 40% and enhance safety for commuters and freight haulers. This ties into broader flood-resilient designs incorporating permeable pavements in vulnerable zones like Glen Cove, with construction starting in Q1 2026 and community input sessions planned for December. These efforts, detailed in his post-election platform, aim to boost GDP by 3% annually while addressing resident feedback on congestion and employment access.
