In the Women’s Gold 400 Freestyle Race, all 8 athletes are determined to take Gold but they can only be 1 winner. The 8 Athletes in this competion is Costa of Brazil, Perkins of Australia, Fairweather of New Zealand, Ledecky of the USA, Titmus of Australia, McIntosh of Canada, Madden, and Gose of Germany. The Race began with, everyone getting close to get Gold into the 2nd lap. Then Ariarne Titmus of Australia has taken the lead followed by Ledecky of the USA and Mclntosh of Canada.

At the 100 meter line, Fairweather of New Zealand took over for the spot of 3rd Place. While Australia and Canada are still fighting for Gold, Madden of the USA took over the 3rd Place spot after New Zealand slowed down her speed. At the halfway mark 2 Americans are battling for 3rd Place as there was still time to make a moment. The crowd as continued to rise the energy with a moment away of seeing someone taking home Gold. Then Ledecky of Team USA has taken her spot back to 3rd Place in the last 150 meters left of the 400 Freestyle Race. While the other 4 players are tiring themselves out, it’s along way to take the homestretch. During the final 50 meters left, Australia and Canada are the remaining players left to get Gold as the 2 Americans couldn’t hold on the fight for 2nd which one of them could take home for the Bronze. The other half the swimmers want to tried to get closer to 3rd while their arms continued to tired out as the final 50 meters left. It was the battle for Mcintosh the teenager from Canada and Titmus of Australia which it was very close as the Aussie Swimmer has taken Gold which Ararne Titmus from Tasmania and will bring home Gold for Australia. Summer Mcintosh of Canada will take Silver and Katie Ledecky of the United States will take Bronze. It was a thriller match for the women in the 400 meter Freestyle Race.
