Three minutes later, the Kookaburras were awarded their first penalty corner of the game; however, keeper David Harte of the opposition stopped Blake Govers’ shot. Australia’s Corey Meyer scored a huge goal in the ninth minute to give the Kookaburras a 1-0 lead.In the opening ten minutes of the second quarter, they created opportunity after opportunity but couldn’t find a way to concluded a goal.
