During the Men’s Canoe Slalom, there are 10 players in Heat 1 and it started with Matija Marin of Croatia as he began with the spins. He somehow went backwards but managed to go through the poles and move as fast of possible. He was able to finish it with 91.61 as he beat Gregor Hedwig of Poland by 2.47 seconds. After that, Adam Burgess of Great Britain took the spot and sped through the poles to stay in the line and gained action with the turns as he toughs it up through the waterfalls. As he flows through the waters, Adam continued to fly as the stream gained his canoe to the finish line and beat Marnic of Croatia by .74 seconds. Lastly, Nicolas Gestin of France began with the boast of his canoe to pass through the green and red poles as he quickly shifts his canoe to quickly get back on track to avoid a penalty. At the halfway mark, fans began cheering for him and took the mighty charge while he was stuck by the wall but quickly went back to kept fighting for Gold. During the last 20 seconds, he went power and ducked through the poles and the fans were outstandingly wild as he finished it with the same exact time as his time against himself with 88.78. The fans of the host nation were excited to see Nicolas Gestin of France take the win and the exact same time.
