On a beautiful day in the sea on the coast of Marseille as 10 boats of each country with 2 induvial on the boat through the obstacles.
It started when all 10 boats moving at a similar pace while Norway and Sweden wanted to try to move up to take bronze which it depends on the points and the wind in the costal parts of the ocean. At the first turn, Norway and the Netherlands took one circle as the Netherlands gained the lead on the outside while Norway 2nd and USA 4rd after the 1st mark which Sweden is going for 3rd while heading in the opposite direction. While sailing to the 2nd Mark, Australia took the same direction as Sweden while the rest followed the Netherlands. Once the sail boats made it to the 2nd mark, The Netherlands made the turn and Team USA was 2nd the reach to the next turn behind the Netherlands as Norway and Sweden goes neck to neck while Brazil, Italy, New Zealand, France, and Germany got into a minor bumper to bumper traffic while making the turn as Australia started to fall behind. By the 3rd Mark, USA has edged The Netherlands, Sweden and Brazil took a close position to the Top 3 as The Dutch Team took advantage of the other 3 countries fighting for Gold as the sailed away from the rest. Meanwhile, Italy and New Zealand took the turn as Norway somehow lost control of the boat while sailing the other way around causing traffic with the last 3 sailboats. On the Doppler radar of the 10 sailboats, the results stands by predictive standings while the boat goes depending on the speed but they also use it for the lowest points would win the Skiff Race.
After the 4 and final Mark, The Netherlands and Team USA battled for Gold after their final turn loop around the circle, for some reason, both teams lost control of the sailboat and the Dutch thought they would have a premature victory as Sweden suddenly passed both Team Dutch and Team USA. The Netherlands took the other side of the Finish line while Team USA had issues controlling the boat steering into the right direction as Sweden managed to win the race while Italy and New Zealand crossed the finish line as the Netherlands figure out the actual finish line which it could’ve blown their Gold Medal opportunity. After that, Brazil and France took the finish line feeling excited for the finish and hoping to get gold with the lowest points. Norway and Germany came into the Finish Line as Australia and USA both feeling unsatisfied with the performance as Team USA messed up their chance to finish first. While The Netherlands checked the crew member of the boat to see if they win while heading into the wrong direction as they checked the score and Aanholt and Duetz of the Dutch has won Gold Medal with the lowest Points in Women’s Skiff Racing while they hugged each other for the moment after getting in the wrong direction of the goal which somehow managed to get Gold.
