
In the Women’s Canoe Slalom in the Kayak Cross Event in Heat 3 of the Round of 32, we got the 2 sisters of Australia as Noemie Fox will make her Olympic Debut as she competes against her sister Jessica Fox. Then the other competitors we got Martina Wegman of the Netherlands and lastly, Maialen Chourraut of Spain as she is the oldest Olympian in the Sport History which is also her 5th Olympic appearance. Jessica has won 2 Gold Medals in the event and hoping the get another Gold in this one. The race began with all of them going down the stream as Noemie Fox nudges the other 3 competitors with the early lead. Every player then did the roll zone by the small barrier and spin around the first gate while Noemie has resumed the lead. After passing through the obstacles, Jessica Fox gained her canoe to get closer to her sister and Maialen Chourraut as Martina Wegman of the Netherlands is far behind. The last gate was when Jessica was about to get to the other gate which she was going to make it, but somehow lost her steering and have to go back with Noemie her younger sister in first as Martina Wegman of the Netherlands 2nd, Maialen Chourraut of Spain in 3rd and Jessica Fox finishes in last place. Then she hugged her sister Noemie that she was able to move on the next tournament of the Sprint Kayak to the Quarterfinals as Martina Wegman of the Netherlands also qualified to the Quarterfinals.
