
During the Men’s Semifinals Match in Surfing, in Heat 1 we got Alonso Correa of Peru vs Kauli Vaast of France, while in Heat 2 we got the amazing Gabriel Medina of Brazil vs Jack Robinson.
It started with Alonso Correa of Peru with his best wave was 5.67, while Kauli Vaast of France gets his best wave with 5.83. Then Alonso Correa got his 2nd best wave with the result of 3.93, as Kauli Vaast gets his 2nd best wave with the result of 5.13. Kauli Vaast of France gets to advance to the Gold Match with the total result of 10.96 while Alonso Correa of Peru gets the total of 9.60 while he gets to go to the Bronze Medal Match.

In the Match of Heat 2, it started with Gabriel Medina of Brazil getting his best wave with the performance of 6.33, while Jack Robinson of Australia gets his best wave with the results of 7.83. Jack Robinson did once more with another wave with his 2nd best wave with the results of 4.50. Unfortanley, Gabriel Medina wasn’t able to catch his 2nd Wave which the result stands that Jack Robinson will advanced to the Gold Medal as Gabriel Medina will redeem himself to get Bronze in the Bronze Medal Match.

During the Men’s Finals in the Gold Medal Match, we got Kauli Vaast of France vs Jack Robinson of Australia. Kauli Vaast grew up in Teahunpo and has two younger siblings, a sister and a brother. His sister, Alan, is also a professional surfer Vast first rode on a surfboard with his father when he was four years old, and began surfing on his own when he was six. When he was eight, Vaast surfed Teahupo’o for the first time, and won a local surfing competition, motivating him to train competitively as a surfer in France it started with the Frenchman riding the huge wave as he did great with the reef. Then the Aussie riding the waves on the rail and burned off the speed as he takes a good start for the completion. After that, The Frenchman took his arm in the long of the wave which it was a perfection wave and did some switch offs. Lastly, the Host Nation France took the perfect ending for surfing as the Tahitian Native Kauli Vaast was excited for the win and the fans at the Beach were happy to cheer for him.

As Kauli Vaast of France took home Gold, while Jack Robinson of Australia took home Silver and Gabriel Medina of Brazil took home Bronze.
