In The Women’s Semifinals Round of Surfing in the Paris Olympics, In Heat 1 we got Caroline Marks of the USA vs Johanne Defav of France. In Heat 2 we got Brisa Hennessy of Costa Rica vs Tatiana Weston-Webb of Brazil.
It started when Caroline Marks who had her best wave with the results of 7.00, while Johanne Defay got her best wave with the result of 6.50. After that, Caroline Marks got her 2nd Best wave with the results of 5.17, as Johanne Defay of France got her 2nd Best Wave with the result of 5.67. Even the results look like a tied with 12.17 but Carolina has won the semifinals has the results had a higher result with the other waves than Johanne did with her other results of the waves. Caroline Marks will move on to the Gold Medal Round as Johanne Defay will head to the Bronze Medal Match to get Bronze.
In the Heat 2 Group, it started with Brisa Hennessey of Costa Rica with her Best Wave with the results of 6.17, as Tatiana Weston-Webb of Brazil got her best wave, she got a result of 8.33. During Brisa’s 2nd Best Wave, as she got her results of 4.83, while Tatiana’s 2nd Best Wave, she had a strong chance of 5.30 and will move on to the Gold Medal Match. Tatiana Weston-Webb had a major comeback after a faulty start with the waves and saved her last 2 waves for the best one to finish as she will move on the get Gold, while Brisa Hennessy will have to get Bronze in the Bronze Medal Match in order to get the best waves. During the moment of heat 2, there was a whale from the view of the ocean and it was a beautiful icon of oceans pure the life of nature and sound.
During the Women’s Finals in the Gold Medal Match, we got Caroline Marks of the USA vs Tatiana Weston-Webb of Brazil. Caroline Marks grew up in Florida as She is the third of six children. The house she grew up in had a large backyard with a motorbike-track, halfpipe, and a surf break across the street. She discovered her love of sports through barrel racing and began surfing competitively when she was 8 ears old. Marks and her siblings have all supported and encouraged each other in their individual passions. When her older brother Zach was 12, he created the social media site Grom Social for kids, and Marks helped create images and characters for the site. She continues to post on the site as herself, updating users on her adventures and accomplishments. Likewise, her brother, other siblings and the rest of her family have been a constant presence at her competitions, cheering her on, giving her pointers and shouldering her when she takes home a win Marks attributes her success and how good she is to her brothers and her roots of trying to impress them when she was growing up. While the Island of Tahiti is 10,000 miles away from Paris, The Match began with Caroline Marks and surfed under the waves and had a terrific start as she takes the lead. Then, Tatiana Weston-Webb of Brazil began with a priority as she uses her hands touching the waves as she uses the fades the under in the pocket as she changed her gears and use her forehands to spin her surfboard. Then Caroline Marks was about to get her first section of the waves which it clipped out. Then Tatiana Weston-Webb took the wave action at the 2 minute mark as she started off with riding down the waves which she had a solid connection of the lip in front as she lays down the rail and jams it before the waves faded out. It was a close battle with the total results which Tatiana needs a 4.68 which ended up 4.5 not enough to take Gold and Caroline Marks will take come Good which it was the 2nd American Woman to take home Gold since Carissa Moore at the Tokyo Olympics.
Caroline Marks will take Gold in the Women’s Surfing Tournament of the Paris Olympics, while Tatiana Weston-Weber of Brazil takes home Silver and Johanne Defay of France takes home Bronze.
