
Women’s Kite Surfing Semifinals The Race began with Daniela Moroz of San Francisco for Team USA, as Elena Lengwiler of Switzerland, Breiana Whitehead of Australia and Gal Zukerman of Israel will compete in the first Race of the Group A. The competition was located in the coast of the Marseille, France. The Race began with USA and Switzerland took one side of the course and Australia and Israel took the other side of the course before the first mark. Until Elena Lengwiler of Switzerland made a huge mistake by leaning her back too far while putting her right foot on the board and fell into the water. Then Daniela Moroz of Team USA took the lead as she passed Australia and Israel to the first mark as Elena Lengwiler of Switzerland made a huge comeback and jumped to 3rd as she speeds her board into the first mark. After the final mark, USA and Switzerland made a very close battle to the finish line and Daniela Moroz of Team USA has gained momentum while the wind has gained her chance to win the race and will advance to the Finals Round. Elena Lengwiler of Switzerland took 2nd Place, Gal Zukerman of Israel took 3rd and Breiana Whitehead of Australia took 4th Place.

The Race in Group began with Team USA, Great Britain, France and The Netherlands as it began with France taking the other side of the course while the other 3 individual battle for a close battle. As Eleanor Aldridge of Great Britain started off with 3rd before the first mark and managed to pass through the other athletes and gained her board to go faster as she made it through 3 more marks as she gains 30kts straight to the finish line and broke the record as her fans were excited about the win. Annelous Lammerts of The Netherlands took 2nd as Daniela Moroz Team USA took 3rd and Lauriane Nolot of France took 4th place.
