What a night to remember at the FIFA World Cup Experience Party at Stony Brook University! ⚽🎉
I showed up ready for an unforgettable evening, and it delivered from the very first moment. The night kicked off with an epic live performance by Third Eye Blind they absolutely rocked LaValle Stadium! Along the way, I ran into some friends, and the energy was electric. After that, I created signs for the FIFA World Cup and I wrote down with cool themes for Team USA.
Then I headed over to the sign-making station and created my own custom signs cheering on Team USA. Once the match started, I made my way onto the turf to watch the entire USA vs. Paraguay game up close with the crowd. The atmosphere was incredible and I got excited when Christian Pulisic scored a goal which I was thrilled by the American Hero. I also enjoyed being photographed by a professional photographer from every moment when team usa scored and close calls with fun reactions. I was sining and rooting them on the whole way. When Folarin Balogun scored the goal, I was so hyped up but the celebration was cut short due to an offside call. However, he was able to try again and the goal did count which the fans and myself celebrated the moment. Before Halftime, Folarin Balogun scored the moment of the buzzer to halftime and was a thriller as I jumped for joy. The Americans were unstoppable to began this excited 1st half. At Halftime, I added more signs and spend time with friends in the 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half. As I got food, Paraguay scored their one and only goal. I went back to the turf to hopefully have one more goal. Luckily, at the final second of stoppage time, Giovanni Reyna scored the buzzer beater goal which the excitement felt like winning the final touchdown or the buzzer beater in basketball. It was the best soccer match that I could’ve asked for. USA won 4-1 and it was the best opener for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as USA the host nation gets to start off on a postive note. I celebrating like theyve won the Champions as Team USA had plenty of tume before the knockout stage.
