To give a general overview of queer representation in comics, graphic novels, and video games today, we gathered resources that express different LGBT identities primarily through illustration. Our goal was to compile a collection that showcases the various ways that comic books have been utilized to expand the definition of LGBT characters in popular culture. I’d like kids to realize that they can carve out their own paths in life and that their community will encourage and support them along the way. We should hope that our young people will experience kink at Pride if we want them to develop and learn from their experiences there. How else could they be made aware of the scope?
