With its common history, culture, institutions, and language, significant people to people connections, congruent security objectives, competitive sports, and active economic and investment cooperation, it can be seen as one of the closest international relationships ever written. There is excitement in both Belgium and the Netherlands for the Women’s Field Hockey Pool A Division match. While Both teams have qualified for the Playoffs for the Pool A Division of Women’s Field Hockey, only one team can win the Division and the team who loses can still qualify for the playoffs. The Maycxh would be played at Yves-du-Manoir Stadium for the Field Hockey Matches. Belgium takes on the Netherlands to stay on Top of the Division in this Amazing Tournament of the 2024 Paris Olympics Games. Furthermore, although both teams have earned a spot in the Pool A Division of Women’s Field Hockey Playoffs, only one team can win the Division; the losing team has the opportunity to advance to the next round. The field hockey matches would take place at Yves-du-Manoir Stadium.

The match started when The Netherlands took the Penalty Corner Shot by Yibbi Jansen and it was saved. While quickly landed it to Joosje Burg and passed it to Pine Sanders as she scored the early goal for the Netherlands 1-0 at the 6th minute. Then, Luna Fokke of the Netherlands was caught for a foul and got a green card. After that, Belgium took the Penalty Corner Shot and Charlotte Englebert missed the shot which they thought it went in the net, but the referee wanted to review the play that the ball hit the post by few meters close to the goal line so the goal was disallowed. Meanwhile, Yibbi Jansen of the Netherlands took the penalty corner shot but it was saved by the goalkeeper. At the 13th minute, The Netherlands took the penalty corner and Yibbi Jansen swing the ball to into the net and scored another for the Dutch as they lead 2-0.

During the 2nd Quarter, Frédérique Matla took the shot on target for the Netherlands but it was saved. Belgium was about to score a goal but swing it out of bounds. In the 30th minute, Freeke Moes passed it to Felice Albers and then passed it to Maria Verschoor which she scored the goal for the Netherlands as they lead 3-0 right before halftime. Lastly, Belgium took the Penalty Corner and Charlotte Englebert took the shot but couldn’t score at the buzzer once it reached to Halftime.

During the 3rd Quarter, Delphine-Daphne Marien of Belgium took the shot but a nice save from the Netherlands Goalkeeper. Then Emma Puvrez of Belgium took the shot but it was missed as they proceeded the advantage play. Then the Netherlands took 2 penalty corners which the first one was when Freeke Moes took the shot but it was saved by the goalie. After that, Yibbi Jansen wacked the stick up into the air which Maria Verschoor was able to save it but it was already out of bounds. Then the Netherlands was caught for a foul being hit on the shoulder outside of the circle which gives Belgium the free hit. While Belgium took the free hit, Michelle Struijk to Emma Puvrez to Barbra Nelen but was saved and passed it to Ambre Ballenghien as Belgium got the goal to put themselves on the board 3-1. After a couple of passes from both Belgium and The Netherlands, Michelle Struijk of Belgium was called foul for pushing Felice Ambers of the Netherlands.

During the 4th Quarter, Marijn Veen took the shot for the Netherlands and it was missed. Then Marleen Jochems of the Netherlands was caught for contacting Justine Rasir of Belgium which was given the green card. After that, Barbara Helen took the shot but it was missed out of bounds. Then Belgium took some scoring opportunities which it ended with miss attempts or swing it out of bounds without direct target. While there was 90 seconds left on the clock, Maria Verschoor took the shot but it was wide out. When Belgium teamed up the get the long swings to their teammates, but Ambre Ballenghien was about to get the ball but Yibbi Jansen was caught for sticking around 5 meters by the penalty circle. Then Belgium took the Penalty Corner but couldn’t capitalize the ice of getting the second goal. As they quickly took the ball, Belgium continued to strive to get to opportunity but there was a foul on Belgium so Alix Gerniers of Belgium talked to the referee for a Referral Call to review the play. After they reviewed the play, it was called that The Netherlands was caught for body shielding, foot call and roughing with the stick. The referee decided that Belgium loses the Referral Call which they would start with a ball at the 5 metre zone. Lastly, Yibbi Jansen wack the stick for long range to see if she can get the buzzer bester but the ball roll faster than her which would wrapped up the match.

The Dutch Orange Ladies has won 3-1 while putting all of the effort in the 1st Half while Belgium had the stronger side in the 2nd Half but couldn’t get the way to win the Match. While The Dutch Team would win the Pool A Division but Belgium can still qualified for the Quarterfinals.
