After they knocked out but avoided the floor as the two put up a surprisingly good fight, dodging the Murderflies’ attacks with flips and kicks to like the Rockettes, but are ultimately pinned. The crowd roars, and Abner, impressed, and congratulate them as they weakly moved their arms.

After the last set of fans left the Arena, Abner Doubledeal came by to see the two with a great performance and offer them a spot in the Derby. He also stated that “We’re always lookin’ for fresh blood!” Amy and Leela, hyped on adrenaline, which they agree to become the next Butterfly Derby Duo. The next scene, Bender narrates the beginning of Amy and Leela’s fight career of two skimpy outfits and the feisty women who filled them which they’re known as The WingNuts. Some games they got beaten and other times they got the worst Performance which know matter how hard they try, they haven’t won a single game since then. In the locker room, Leela was disappointed that since they have lost 15 straight games, Amy and Leela make the decision to step down However, they subsequently see a trainer giving two Butterfly Derby participants “Nectar,” and one of them claims that it significantly improves performance. After that, they go up to the trainer, who consents to let them buy some of her supplies. Amy wanted to try it, but Leela was unsure at first. After a phone call from Amy, the both of make the decision to try it. The ramifications hit them immediately. they noticed that one of the coach was going to give the winners fresh nectar. Leela wanted to know the nectar as the coach ask her it was a plant based supplement.

The two then started to workout with the heavyweights as Fry was going to ask Leela to go on another date together like mini golf or colossal tennis. Leela ditched his plan and focus on a double date with arm and hammer. Fry was about to ask Bender to do something together, as Bender was furious that he would be his last resort booty call, but changes his mind to go with him. Back the Butterfly Derby, the two were having another successful tournament as Fry and Kif are griping about their inability to get their ladies’ attention. Amy and Leela are then shown winning the Butterfly Derby once more. Abner announces that they will face the Murderflies in their next final match as the two teams jeer at one other.

After the game, Amy and Leela approach the trainer for more Nectar, but she tells them that the Murderflies have already bought all of her supplies. Back at Planet Express, Fry and Kif are griping about their ladies’ not giving them attention for their own reason of it. Amy and Leela then walk in and wonder how they are going to get more Nectar. Desperate, they turn to Professor Farnsworth, to get more necta from Kif’s home planet, Amphibios 9. Kif asked Farnsworth it’s the Ocephalus nectar, as Kif gulps nervously, but Fry asks him to play along, as he sees this as an opportunity to go on a romantic trip together with their girlfriends. Bender, inexplicably packed for vacation all geared up and shouts, “Let’s go already!”

Amphibios 9: The Butterfly Reserve Park

The crew lands on Amphibios 9, a lush planet with swampy jungles and fluttering butterflies everywhere. At the Butterfly Reserve Park, Fry was going to think of the most beautiful moment as he was going to think of romantic love for Leela, she wanted to focus on getting the crave for nectar. The Grand Butterfly Curator, a stern Amphibian woman, warns them it’s mating season. She describes the male butterfly—orange, with “enormous butterjunk”—and vaguely cautions about “danger” but cites legal reasons for not elaborating. Kif was worried and ask Bender not to do it, because the park ranger give them a vague warning about the consequences. Bender decide to take the risk of hammering the butterfly, until the butterfly goes in self-defense, sprays pheromones. Bender ducks, leaving Fry to take the hit. Kif gags, “It smells like a skunk stuffed with feta cheese!” Fry was stuffed with the smell of nectar all over him.

That Evening, the rest went to Kif’s parents’ swampy home, Kif introduced his parents, as they’re kindly but strict, notice Fry’s stench and urge him to shower. Late at night, Leela was about to meet Fry for a mating time at his room, a knock on Fry’s door.
