The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debuted at Lime Rock Park with the LiUNA! 150 on June 28, 2025, marking the first time a NASCAR national series raced at the 1.478-mile road course in Lakeville, Connecticut. This was Lime Rock Park’s first NASCAR national series event since 1970, bringing stock car racing to a track known for sports car events like IMSA and Trans Am. The ARCA Menards Series East did have their experience from 1993 to 2010. The 100-lap, 147.8-mile race was a new challenge for the Truck Series, with only two drivers in the field—Corey Heim and Ben Rhodes—having prior road course wins. The event drew 12,000–15,000 spectators, making it one of Lime Rock’s biggest events in NASCAR Truck Series History. It was the first time in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series making their debut to see the fans watch the race in action.

During lap 7, Ty Majeski and Rajah Caruth were battling for 6th and somehow got some contact, which managed to hang on to maintain their momentum. At Lap 14, Layne Riggs was able to go on full force of speed but still taking 2nd place seconds Behind Corey Heim. At Lap 20 Spencer Boyd got his front right tires flattened which he had to drive slowly go back to pitstop. During Lap 35 which concluded Stage 1, Corey Hiem was battling against Jack Wood which Wood was about to be a lap down. Corey Heim won the first stage as he won his 13th Stage Win throughout the 2025 Craftsman Truck Series Season.

The 2nd Stage began with the battle of Heim and Riggs which some of the cars touched the grass which caused to the dirt to fly off, but luckily nothing major happened. Jake Garcia also took a quick turn at the dirt but maintained his position. Connor Mosack’s truck was taped in his front bumper during Lap 52, which he was able to continue to drive for the race. The race overall was a smooth in the Second Stage, as it did had some close calls from some of the drivers. Corey Heim won the 2nd Stage and it was also his 14th Stage Win throughout the Season. When the trucks were about to start the 3rd and Final Stage, which there was oil leaking in the race track which caused the trucks to stop at a moment for the quick Red Flag.

After that, the offically began the final stage of the race as Corey Heim and Layne Riggs went nose to nose to get 1st. At the same time, Matt Crafton drove on to the grass, which made him go all the way in the back of the herd. Matt Crafton’s truck was able to stay straight to avoid the first Caution of the race. With 13 laps to go, the drivers were able to keep another smooth sail until Matt Crafton went on the off road excursion which he would have to go to pitstop for unscheduled stop. Dawson Sutton also was about to go to pitstop for left tire rear flat which lost the tread as it could’ve count for a Caution Flag. With 12 laps to go, Jack Mills was stuck on turn 1, which his truck couldn’t move out as it released the first Caution of the race with an accident. The reason was because Matt’s truck went straight into the grass either the break issue or lack of breaking control. With 9 laps to go, Wesley Slimp’s truck was out of power and forced a tow truck to get a push to get back to pitstop. With 6 laps remaining, everyone was ready to resume the race and got some contact from the drivers and others quickly drove through the grass. Ty Majeski pushed Layne Riggs to take the lead which caused Corey Heim’s full lead streak. However, Jordan Taylor was pushed by Frankie Muniz and Rajah Caruth was also hit in the wall but turned his truck back to the track as the caution flag did not stand as it should have been at the moment of the crash. With the final lap, it was the battle of Corey Heim and Ty Majeski for first place. A late restart on lap 96 saw Layne Riggs briefly take the lead, but he locked up, triggering a chaotic sequence where multiple trucks spun or went off course. Corey Heim was able to stay in the lead until the final lap of the race. Corey Heim has won the race as it was the first time in NASCAR Truck Series history to have the debut Lime Rock Park. Ty Majeski capitalized to finish second, while rookie Giovanni Ruggiero secured third, his first top-10 at Lime Rock.
