On June 1, 2019, Klopp’s Liverpool won the Champions League after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League Finals. Liverpool triumphed over Chelsea in a thrilling 5-4 penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw in the UEFA Super Cup of 2019. Klopp’s side secured the prestigious title by defeating Flamengo 1-0 in the final in the FIFA Club World Cup Finals at Qatar. Klopp was named the best manager in the world at the FIFA Best Awards that same year. He helped Liverpool FC win the Premier League Title during the 2019–2020 Season as Klopp led Liverpool to their first league title in 30 years, ending their long wait for a top-flight championship. Liverpool also lifted the Trophy on July 22, 2020 when they had a memorable 5-3 win against Chelsea and Anfield without the fans as the fans were able to celebrate the trophy outside of Anfield. Jürgen Klopp has won the PFA Manager of the Year in the (2019–20) Season as he was named the Premier League Manager of the Year after leading Liverpool to their historic league title. Liverpool won the English Football League Cup by defeating Chelsea in another penalty shootout (11-10) after a 0-0 draw during the 2021-2022 Season. Jürgen Klopp’s side won the FA Cup, beating Chelsea 6-5 in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup. The fans also had a parade as Calvin Harris was their DJ to mix the songs for the party bus. The Parade was an insane amount of crowds at Liverpool and the Merseyside Communities. After that, Liverpool defeated Manchester City 3-1 to win the Community Shield that Summer.
Jürgen Klopp has joined Red Bull GmbH as the Head of Global Soccer starting on January 1, 2025. In this role, he oversees Red Bull’s global football operations, which include clubs like RB Leipzig (Germany), RB Salzburg (Austria), and New York Red Bulls (USA), among others. Klopp’s new position involves supporting the development of talent, scouting, and coaching, as well as ensuring the consistency of Red Bull’s football philosophy across their clubs.
Jürgen Klopp has visited Red Bull Arena in Harrison New Jersey on February 5, 2025 as he took a tour while focusing on taking charge of Red Bulls Global Football Operations. He has met the Manager and the players and was able to get a jersey with his name on it.
