On April 27, 2025, I went on a trip to the Long Island 4 Mile Race for Autism which it was the end of Autism Acceptance Month. I thought it would be a good idea to help out the community with my Field Hockey Team to support the people who participated in the race. The Race was also known as the EJ Autism Jigsaw 4 Mile Run/Walk, which it started around 2005. The story started when Bea had her two Autistic sons Jack and Eric and wanted to use the foundation to support children with Autism. The mission was to be part of a nonprofit program to honor the two sons of Eric and Jack who were diagnosed with Autism. The mission is to create Autism Awareness and support programs and schools on Long Island. The EJ Autism Foundation also had brought up the community to do a 4K Race to do for a donation event. Some people also wanted to do the race if they enjoyed running in marathons or their current in a track and field or cross country team for the school they go to. It was also to bring awareness to let people know that they wanted to let society know that Autistic Individuals should also feel included with the community. The race this year had over 1,260 participants in the race whenever if it rains or shine. The idea was to focus on the beauty of people with Autism as a person for all abilities. The goal was to make people aware that Autism is a special gift as a shining light.
