Phoenix’s Adventure to Retrieve Saxon
The episode opens with Cricket Green playfully demonstrating Phoenix’s fetching skills to Remy Remington at the Greens’ country home (following the family’s move back to Smalton). Phoenix, the loyal family dog, excels at retrieving various items, showcasing her reliability. Cricket was happy that Phoenix is a good girl and petted her until Tilly Green interrupts in a panic, revealing that her cherished stuffed toy, Saxon, was left behind at the Greens’ house in Big City. Her distress prompts Phoenix to take action, recalling exactly where Saxon was left. Phoenix remembered that Saxon was left at the Greens’ House and was about to alert the children which Cricket and Remy took the heartbroken Tilly to the house. Melissa the Goat and Brenda the Cow heard her about it. Phoenix decides to embark on a solo mission to Big City to retrieve Saxon. Melissa the Goat and Brenda the Cow eagerly ask to join, but Phoenix declines, believing she can handle it alone. Cogburn the Rooster, a more antagonistic animal character, mocked Phoenix, accusing her of seeking personal glory and doubting her ability to succeed alone.

Gloria and Gramma Alice’s Night Out
In a parallel storyline, Gloria Sato returned home from work (Gloria + Green Café) feeling exhausted and was ready to relax on the couch, until she find Gramma Alice Green pampering herself for a night out. Alice, typically grumpy and tough, is uncharacteristically eager to hit the town and invites Gloria to join her. Alice asked her to put on her fancy dress and thought it would be a great idea since it’s just the two of them. Gloria agrees reluctantly, sensing something off about Alice’s behavior.

Journey to Big City
Phoenix sneaks onto a train heading to Big City, passed through the crowd at the station, only to discover that Melissa and Brenda have secretly followed her. Phoenix asked them to hide to avoid getting caught from the customers and the conductor.

Danced the Night Away
The two head to a club in Big City, where Alice throws herself into dancing and revelry, contrasting her usual demeanor. The two danced on the dancefloor as they then went to bar and Alice broke all of the glass cups and asked the bartender to give her a splish. Bar hack she goes and drank all of the splish, as Gloria was thrilled to see her this way but quickly got suspicious about her behavior. Alice was going insane and then threw extra pennies to the people at the club to think she was being extra generous.

The moment they all got kicked out of the Train
Back on the train, Phoenix asked Brenda to hide to avoid getting caught, while Melissa found a spot next to the suitcases. Brenda then found the Lavatory which it was the single bathroom as it was too narrow for her to fit. Melissa was happy that Brenda found a spot which she thought a bag would be great snack as she ate the bag until one passenger was about to have her meal until she noticed a sock. Phoenix was worried that they would all get caught and Melissa hide herself. It didn’t last when Brenda was stuck in a toilet and was already wrapped in toilet paper as she fear that the toilet was going to her eat her. After the loud thump, despite her insistence on stealth, their clumsiness leads to all three being caught. The conductor expected that there’s no animals allowed on the train, so he kicked all 3 of them out and got ejected from the train at Medium City. Undeterred, Phoenix chooses to continue her journey alone, emphasizing her determination and independence. She was upset that they would have to walk the rest of the which would last the whole night. Brenda thought they made a hiccup along the way as Brenda Cow and Melissa Goat pointed the direction to Big City. Melissa asked Phoenix to point which direction to Big City. Phonix was mortified at the both of them and decided to walk the rest of the way alone. This moment highlights her loyalty to Tilly and her desire to prove herself capable of walking in the dark to Big City.

Alice’s mood swing deflects only because she missed her family
When it was passed late at night back at the club, Gloria was exhausted from dancing from the great music until the Bouncer pointed at if she’s with the woman as Alice hogged the excitement on the dancefloor. Alice didn’t know someone give her a hat but then threw it away. She then bogied the dancefloor and Gloria was thinking she was ready to leave for the night. Alice was disgusted that she refused to go back to her house and continue party and talk to strangers. Gloria decided to on Snap a Gram until she wears herself out, until Alice opened up a Snap a Gram which she wanted to know more about it. Alice already made 3 posts on the same night as first was one “Just Beltin”!, Sprucing up my Pearlies”! & “Pinchin’ my friend Xavier’s cheeks”? Gloria deduced that Alice is acting out to cope with missing her family, who are now living in Smalton. This insight reveals Alice’s vulnerability and her struggle to adjust to the family’s relocation. Alice was all hyped up about the 2 strangers as calling them her son and granddaughter as Gloria was ready to take Alice home to avoid getting kicked out of the club. Xavier then quoted “I Like cookies” to the woman on the beanbag.

Confrontation at the House
Phoenix sniffed for car exhaust, rats, coffee grounds, chickens which she reaches the Greens’ old house in Big City. She went through Cricket’s secret entrance and finds Saxon until she found her in the living room. However, Cogburn unexpectedly appears, having followed her to undermine her mission. He traps Phoenix and threatens to destroy Saxon, intending to frame her for the failure. Cogburn deiced to destroy Tilly’s toy Saxon by chewing up. Quickly as Melissa and Brenda, who have trailed Phoenix despite being thrown off the train, arrive just in time to intervene. Phoenix realized that she abandon Melissa and Brenda for dismissing their help, acknowledging their loyalty and teamwork. Alice deflects, insisting she’s fine, but her hesitation betrays her emotional struggle. Gloria offers to manage things in Big City if Alice wants to visit Smalton, easing her doubts about reconnecting with her family. She admits that even if she missed them, chasing after them right after they left would feel impossible. Alice admits chasing them feels complicated, life’s not that simple. Suddenly, they spot chaos in the living room furniture toppled, feathers everywhere, the aftermath of Phoenix, Melissa, and Brenda’s mission to retrieve Saxon, clashing with Cogburn. Gloria seizes the moment, suggesting the animals’ presence is a perfect excuse for Alice to head to Smalton. Alice considers a service to return the animals but realizes she could take them herself. Alice agrees and joins Phoenix, Melissa, and Brenda to take the taxi back to Smalton. This scene blends Alice’s comedic over-the-top antics with a heartfelt revelation, setting up her reunion with the Greens.
